Driveway to the front door
This is the path everyone walks, so we set its height to meet the driveway and the front step without a lip, which is the spot where people usually catch a toe.
Cracked slabs, tripping edges or a worn dirt track to your door? We build a paver or poured concrete walkway that's even underfoot.

Walkway construction in West Palm Beach means building the path from your driveway or the street to your front door, in pavers or poured concrete, on ground we dig out and level first so it sits even underfoot.
Most calls start with a cracked slab path, a paver walk that's sunk in spots or a worn track across the grass. We're based in West Palm Beach and work across the cities around it in Palm Beach County. The price moves with the length and width of the path, pavers or concrete, plain concrete or added color and texture, how much ground has to be leveled and whether the path runs straight or curves. The schedule turns mostly on that ground work and the material you pick, and I'll give you your own figure when I come out to look at the job.
I come out, walk the path with you and give the estimate on site, and our own masons do the work, so the plan you agreed to is the plan they build.
Before I started this business in 2017, I ran schedules for a busy construction company, so we're known for showing up on the day we planned, which matters when your path is torn up.
If your walkway job turns out smaller than you feared, or bigger, I'll tell you at the estimate rather than let you find out halfway through the work.
First I sit down with you and weigh pavers against poured concrete for the path to your door, because that choice decides how it looks, how it gets fixed later and how long you'll be walking around it. If there are trees nearby, we plan the line so the roots have room, since a path squeezed against a trunk is the one that gets pushed up. Then our masons mark the path, dig out and grade the ground so it sheds water instead of holding it, and pack the base firm, because a soft base is what makes a walkway sink. For pavers we lay the pattern, cut the edges and fill the joints with sand. For concrete we set forms, pour, finish the surface and leave it to cure, and on both jobs we clean up and haul off what we dug out.
A walkway often ties into other masonry at the house. If you want a low wall along the path or around the front bed, our brick wall installation work can go into the same plan, and stone masonry covers stone steps, edging or a landing where the path meets your porch.

When an old slab path is broken in several places, fixing one crack at a time stops making sense, so we break it out, rebuild the base and lay new material on firm ground.
A plain path down the side of the house to the gate, the trash cans or the pool equipment keeps you off wet grass and is usually the simplest walkway to build.
A curve through a garden reads softer than a straight line, and pavers handle it well because we cut each edge piece to follow the bend instead of forming a long curved pour.
Send the form and we'll get back to you within one business day to set a visit. I come out, look at the path and give you an estimate on site, and there's no pressure to book.
The estimate is free, and I do it standing on your path, because the length, the width and how much leveling it needs are things I'd rather measure than guess.
We get back to you within one business day, so you know quickly when I can come out and can plan the rest of your week around it.
Take the estimate, compare it with others or sit on it for a while. Nothing gets put on our schedule until you call back and tell us you're ready.
Paver patterns, broom-finished and colored concrete, and stone and brick edging you can point to when we talk through your own path.
Straight answers to what West Palm Beach homeowners ask about cost, repairs, curing time and building a walkway themselves.
Across the US, paver or poured concrete paving usually costs about $6 to $30 per square foot. That's a national range for the paving, not our price. Where your path falls in it comes down to the things I covered near the top of this page, and the estimate I give at your house turns that into a figure for your path.
Pavers are easier to repair than poured concrete. Both are fairly low maintenance, but a cracked paver can be lifted out and replaced on its own, which makes repairs cheaper and simpler. A crack in a concrete walk should be patched right away so it doesn't grow into a costlier repair. If easy fixes matter most to you, I'd pick pavers.
You may be able to if it's a simple one. One home-service site says a homeowner who has mixed and poured concrete before may manage a straight walkway on ground that needs no leveling. By that same advice, ground that has to be leveled, curved paths and paver paths are work for a pro. We're licensed and fully insured for those jobs.
Not for several days, because poured concrete needs that long to cure before it's ready to use. Plan another way in and out of the house until then, such as the garage or a side door, and we'll talk through which door you'll use before we pour.
Use polymeric sand if you want the pavers held tight and weeds kept out, but water can't soak through it. Permeable paver sand lets water through and may need topping up as weather and foot traffic move it. Permeable paving tends to be weaker than regular paving, which suits a path people only walk on. Ask which sand we'd use and why.
